Atareira is a Wellington Region Service, providing support to Whānau that have a loved one suffering with mental health or addiction issues and transitional housing.

Atareira is a charitable trust with a forty year history of providing mental health and addictions support to individuals, family, whānau, and transitional housing support in the Wellington region of New Zealand.

Atareira provides mental health and addictions support in Wellington, New Zealand. Our whānau services help families and children to understand how to cope with mental illness and addiction in the home. We offer free group programmes for anxiety management.

Our services also include transitional housing to assist with short-term homelessness in Wellington and services that may assist vulnerable tenants to sustain their tenancies in Upper Hutt.
