Koputai Lodge provides a service for people requiring accommodation and support in a semi-rural setting. The Trust offers a family atmosphere in which people receiving support are encouraged to develop their individual living skills and inner resources.
Koputai Lodge is a small not for profit organisation that is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board is made up of members from the Port Chalmers community along with a client representative from the Lodge.
We employ two full and five part-time staff who provide support and accommodation to seven longer term people along providing community support within Port Chalmers.
Koputai has two respite beds and people visit the Lodge for a therapeutic break and to enjoy the delights of Port Chalmers.
Koputai Lodge is a boutique service that offers;
- A quiet and restful place to come for respite.
- Great food and company with close proximity to cafes, galleries and bush walks.
- All food, linen and toiletries are provided.
People are welcome to visit the Cottage our activities studio which is located on the main street of Port Chalmers opposite the supermarket.
