Food & Mood Nutrition - Recovery for Mental Health

A Food and Mood Workshop provides really good nourishment for mental health especially in these days of persuasive advertising, increasing use of food additives, the easy road of fast foods and the temptation to eat for comfort when experiencing stress.

The founder of the Mood and Food project is Amanda Geary which she established in 1998.  Amanda’s background is that she is a registered nutritional therapist. She has also designed the Food and Mood Handbook which you can download on her website www.foodandmood.org.

Interactive workshops  invites you to consider that what you eat can change the way you feel emotionally, mentally and physically. Workshops are suitable for anyone and are offered to consumers, staff and families in the mental health sector by Adriene Grace. The minimum duration of the workshop is 1 hour, but can also be longer on request.  A workshop kit can also be purchased on the website.
