Community Housing Aotearoa

Platform is a member of Community Housing Aotearoa. This organisation is the umbrella group for the not-for-profit community housing sector. CHAI works closely with government, voluntary and community agencies to expand their knowledge of community based housing. CHAI's website provides useful information.

Release of Good Practice Guide for Community Housing in New Zealand (1st Draft)

The Good Practice Guide has been adapted from the National Community Housing Guide published in 2003 by the National Community Housing Forum (NCHF) in Australia. It has been rewritten to reflect the current state of the community housing sector in New Zealand as well as New Zealand practice and legislation.
