Hutt Valley/Wellington region

NGOus, the Wellington, Hutt Valley mental health and addiction service provider group, have been regularly meeting to network, discuss issues and share information. 

These meetings have provided an opportunity to discuss and seek solutions to related issues experienced by service providers within the local mental health and addictions sector.  They have also provided opportunities for collaboration and ways to improve services

The group has a formalised meeting structure and operates within an agreed terms of reference, and set of objectives. They are keen to encourage local service providers and others who have a key interest in mental health and addictions locally, to join and begin to collate a picture of information to share as part of the group’s objectives to build relationships and increase awareness of the community sector and work of organisations.
