NGOus

For the past two years NGOus, the Wellington, Hutt Valley mental health and addiction service provider group, have been regularly meeting to network, discuss issues and share information. 

These meetings have provided an opportunity to discuss and seek solutions to related issues experienced by service providers within the local mental health and addictions sector.  They have also provided opportunities for collaboration that we hope will improve services

Recently the group has decided to formalise the meeting structure, operate within an agreed terms of reference, and set objectives for the next 12 months.  They are keen to encourage local service providers and others who have a key interest in mental health and addictions locally, to join and begin to collate a picture of information to share as part of the group’s objectives to build relationships and increase awareness of the community sector and work of organisations.
