National Service Framework Update

Phase One
The service specifications in this phase have been signed off and the purchase unit codes are being incorporated into the revised data dictionary.
Training is almost complete with Funding and Planning Portfolio Managers (and in some areas with other stakeholders).

Phase Two
The service specifications in this phase have taken longer to progress the sign off processes. They are being re-presented to the Service Specification Executive next month. I am hopeful that these specifications will be signed off in early December.

Phase Three
The service specifications in this phase are under development. Technical groups are teleconferencing monthly and developing the draft documents.

NSF Project Evaluation
We have had lots of discussion on this. An options paper will be circulated in November for your comment
