Lets get real - Real skills for people working in mental health & addictions

Let’s Get Real is a framework that describes the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes required to deliver effective mental health and addiction treatment services. The document has been produced after major consultation and debate up and down the country. 

The framework is intended to be generic however it is interesting to note that even before it goes live Real Skills Plus is being suggested for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, what happened to generic? 

Te Pou has been contracted to manage the pilots, which will run throughout much of 2008. The overall goal of the pilots is to develop and test practical tools that will be used in the implementation. Read more Let's get real.
