Multiple Audits in the Health and Disability Sector

Many  community organisations that contract with the Crown to provide health and disability services do so for more than one  Government agency.  For many years the sector has talked to who ever will listen to them about the repetitive and time consuming process that they are subjected to as each  government agency goes through an audit of  contracts or services.

The Ministry of Health has received considerable feedback from NGOs and their response to conduct a survey.  The results of the survey show that many organisations feel they are over audited!
