Platform Home

Platform is a membership based network of community mental health and addiction organisations. Platform connects, collaborates and promotes a cohesive community mental health and addictions service sector.

The role of Platform is to bring individual community voices together and to describe the make up, activity and diversity of the community sector. Platform's advocacy is underpinned by values of a socially inclusive community. Platform aims to align its activity to the tagline network, connect, collaborate.

Platform advocates for greater resources, funding and improved delivery mechanisms for community mental health and addictions services.

Platform encourages collaborative, supportive and cooperative inter-sectorial relations between community mental health and addiction  services and promotes the role of the New Zealand health and disability community sector, nationally and internationally.

Non-government organisations have a critical role in communities that flourish when the experience of many is harnessed.
