With our partners Bishop's Action Foundation, ANGOA, and Social Development Partners and project lead by Lattice Consulting Ltd, Platform has been involved in the development of NZ Navigator. Because the tool is self-administered, it presents an opportunity for groups to be open and honest about key aspects of their organisation. It also provides a benchmark for future evaluation and you can compare any two assessments to see the progress you have made. A concise report on how the organisation is doing is generated with helpful links to resources and information that will kickstart any further development needed in the various key areas.
NZ Navigator now offers three assessment modules to ensure that it provides an effective self-assessment tool for every organisation within the voluntary and community sector.
Single User Assessment
If you are the only person completing an assessment on behalf of your organisation, or if you are entering information from a group discussion, select this option.
Multiple Participant Assessment
This kind of assessment creates a link you can send to any number of people in your organisation. You choose the assessment completion date. Participants select their role type (board, volunteer, or staff) and all assessments are collated into an overall organisation report that includes some participant- role type results.
