“Lifewise is the social service arm of the Methodist Mission Northern (MMN) based in Tamaki Makaurau and Rotorua. Our mahi is focused on turning around lives for good. Our impact goes beyond the immediate needs of people living with hardship. Our services spread across the motu, address the root cause of poverty, hunger, unemployment, poor housing as well as educational and healthcare deprivation aiming for a just, and inclusive caring society.

Continuing from these strong roots for more than 150 years, the spirit that underpinned the Methodist mission's drive, endures to this day as Lifewise has transformed from being a helping hand charity to working alongside vulnerable and marginalised people empowering to make change and giving whanau the tools to change their life.”
