Simon Katz

Simon is a Policy Analyst with experience in policy development, legislative processes, public consultation, and stakeholder engagement. He has worked on complex policy initiatives and has built strong relationships across government and community sectors. With a background in education policy, Simon brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to advancing the interests of mental health and addiction NGOs.

Simon values creativity and collaboration in his work. Outside of policy, he enjoys salsa dancing, playing music, and surfing. While originally from Wellington, Simon enjoys traveling and has lived in Spain, Dubai and Auckland.
