What does Rubicon provide as a service?

Rubicon Alcohol & Other Drug, Co-Existing Problems Health Service for Youth

Rubicon is here to assist you with the help that you need, whether you are having trouble because of alcohol and/or other drugs.

Rubicon has a long standing reputation for helping young people and their families on so many different levels.

We work with young people, aged between 11 and 19 years, their families and their schools.

Rubicon is accessible via High Schools, GP's or other health or education professionals in the Whangarei, Kaipara and Far North districts. We also accept self-referrals. 

Young People and/or their family/Whānau are also able to access the Service independently. Our services are confidential and we provide specialist youth alcohol and other drug counselling and support services. All counsellors are DAPAANZ registered.

We have a base office in Whangarei and an outreach office in Kaitaia

We provide Drug Testing, Family Whānau Support, Group work, as well as a Youth Activity after School Programme
