Established in 1994, Te Awhi is a kaupapa Māori community-based provider specialising in mental health and addiction support in the Waikato (Hamilton) and Te Tai Tokerau (Whangārei) regions.
We aim for innovative interventions that empower Tū Whānau and their whānau in new ways, to live ordinary lives in communities of their choice, as whānau is their own greatest resource, they just need belief.
