Te Paepae Arahi combines Kaupapa Māori and Mainstream clinical practices. Delivered by our team of Kaiwhakarite (Social Workers), Kaitautoko (Support Workers) and also our Kaitohutohu (Mental Health Clinicians and DAPAANZ registered counsellors

Te Paepae Arahi is

Te Awakairangi/Hutt Valley's community support Service specialising in supporting whānau and individual needs through building positive connections, including specialist AOD support, kaupapa Māori mental health and addiction, primary mental health support and emergency housing (being referrals direct from MSD/WINZ). We also deliver specific  strength based supports to our rangatahi via one on one support and our school-based programme Ngātahi Takitahi ("the collaboration of the many helps strengthen the individual").
